Maki's Mowing and More

Excellence, efficiency and integrity are the stated mission of Maki's Mowing and More, a full-service lawn mowing, property maintenance and landscaping business serving Ottawa, Kanata, Stittsville, Westboro and Alta Vista. Weekly eco-friendly mowing comes with trimming, and lawn care packages bundle aeration, overseeding and fertilizing in early spring. A topdressing package amends soil quality: a triple mix of black earth, peat moss and pasteurized mushroom compost is purchased, delivered and sifted into the lawn, then the lawn is overseeded and raked. A pest program targets grubs and chinch bugs. Sod installation covers surface prep, premium sod selection and precise laying, and grass seeding includes soil prep. Spring cleanup, fall raking, hedge trimming, garden mulching, full-service gardening and eavestrough cleaning are also offered. Rated 4.9 from 205 Google reviews, 198 of them five stars.
